General Questions

What exactly does KentoAdvise do?+
KentoAdvise is a private consulting firm that helps victims of online financial fraud document their cases and pursue recovery options through legitimate legal and regulatory channels. We coordinate between you and lawyers, forensic specialists, exchanges and regulators. We are not a government agency, law firm or financial institution.
Are you a government agency or law firm?+
No. KentoAdvise is a private consulting firm operated by Kento Enterprise UK Ltd (registered in England and Wales). We have no official government authority or regulatory mandate. We work alongside government bodies and regulators on behalf of our clients, but we are not part of any official body.
How is KentoAdvise different from other recovery services?+
We only take on cases we genuinely believe can result in recovery — we won't take your money if we don't think we can help. We are fully transparent about fees, process and realistic outcomes from the start. We have no upfront fees and our compensation is success-based only.
Is my information kept confidential?+
Absolutely. All information you share is handled under strict confidentiality protocols and our Privacy Policy. We do not share your personal data with third parties except as required to pursue your specific case — and only with your explicit consent.

Our Process

How does the recovery process work?+
We start with a free evaluation to assess your case. Our forensic investigators trace assets across the blockchain or financial system, compile evidence, and coordinate with legal and regulatory bodies to pursue recovery. You'll have a dedicated case manager throughout the entire process who keeps you informed at every stage.
How long does the process take?+
Timelines vary significantly by case. Simple cases with clear evidence may resolve in 4–8 weeks. Complex multi-jurisdictional matters can take 3–6 months. After your free evaluation, we'll give you an honest timeline estimate. We work as quickly as possible while ensuring all legal and procedural steps are correctly followed.
What information do I need to provide?+
To begin: the platform or entity involved, transaction records or wallet addresses if available, communication records with the fraudulent party, and an overview of what happened. The more detail you provide, the faster we can assess your case. We'll guide you through exactly what we need once you contact us.
Can you guarantee I'll get my money back?+
No, and we will never tell you otherwise. Recovery outcomes depend on many factors: case complexity, available evidence, jurisdictions involved, and the cooperation of third parties. We provide an honest assessment in your free consultation — including realistic expectations. Anyone who guarantees recovery should be treated with extreme caution.
What happens if you can't recover my funds?+
Because our fee is success-based, if we don't recover, you don't pay anything beyond what was agreed. We will still provide you with a full case documentation report, which can be used for tax deductions, insurance claims, police reports, or future legal action.

Fees & Payment

Do you charge upfront fees?+
Never. The initial consultation is completely free. We operate on a success-based fee structure only — you pay a percentage of the recovered amount if we succeed. All terms are clearly agreed in writing before we start any work. We will never ask for cryptocurrency payment, gift cards, wire transfers or any advance payment.
What percentage do you charge on recovery?+
Our fee percentage varies based on case complexity, the amount lost, and the expected difficulty of recovery. This is discussed and agreed transparently during your consultation — before we start work. There are no hidden fees.
Are there any hidden costs?+
No. Everything is agreed upfront in writing. There are no registration fees, processing fees, tax fees, unlock fees or any other charges. If anyone claims you need to pay a fee to "release" your funds, this is itself a scam — please contact us immediately.

Eligibility

Who is eligible to work with KentoAdvise?+
We consider cases with verified losses from $2,000+. We do not accept clients from the United States. We do not handle e-commerce or retail disputes. We focus on investment, crypto, forex, trading, online job and romance scams.
What is the minimum loss amount you consider?+
We consider cases with losses from $2,000. Below this threshold, the cost and effort of investigation typically outweighs what can realistically be recovered. If your loss is below this amount, we recommend reporting to your local police and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre (antifraudcentre.ca).
Do you accept US citizens?+
No. We do not accept clients from the United States due to regulatory restrictions. If you are a US citizen who has been scammed, please report to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center at ic3.gov or the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
